Hope you are all having a great time wherever you are. Things here crazy as usual just preparing everything for tonight and the next few days. I read somewhere not all of us celebrate Christmas, hey, it might be Hannukah for some, Kwanzaa for others, it really does not make much of a difference.
I do celebrate Christmas, I like it and I consider it a time when we get a chance to reflect on all that has come and gone in this year and make changes where we can, improve what we think needs improvement and well, try to be better people I guess.
So, smile, count your blessings and be happy.
I will toast to your health, happiness, prosperity and wish you have lots of love in the new year!

Sorry I have not been around much lately, I have been kinda busy here with one thing or another. I sincerely apologize for not having answered messages, sent thank you notes for faves or commented on your work.
I will try to keep up with DA., but cant promise anything as it is cold here, so since there is not much else to do, we socialize a lot...

Not much else to photograph these days our weather has been GRAY big time, COLD bigger even! Damn, I used to live in Cancun before I moved here, but still, I'm not complaining...
Hope all is well with all of you, not much news here, just a little busy socially since there is not much else to do.
Please, for those that received a friendship message, I didnt mean to, I hate those myself, but a good friend sent me one and I just had to send it back, Plus, if memory serves I didnt send one last time because I really did forget (My sincerest apologies to my hairy DA friend that I love so much-he knows who he is-Chewie!)

IS fun, will always be fun...

I had a great time in Paris, had the chance to visit places I never forgot but had not been to in a long time. Not many things have changed, its still as charming as ever, its still as beautiful as ever.
It was I that had changed. Although I felt right at home in Paris and at the same time, as energetic as always, things were different for me. I was no longer a student, I was no longer as carefree, I was not as young...
A close friend here in DA said to me that Paris was meant to be seen in love and preferably with someone special. Maybe.
That was not my case.
As I walked hurriedly to greet the Eiffel tower and see it in its most special moment: when its first lights are lit; when day is not completely gone and night is not totally there, and you get to experience the complete beauty of what may very well be the most creative bunch of metal ever put together.
As I walked there I thought of my friend in DA and his idea of being in Paris with someone special, and I could not help thinking about the rest of you guys here, I thought about Anya and how she would enjoy all this, the beers I'd have with Rick if he were with me, the pics Tash would think of or what Cicerl would have to say of all this- how much Lily would love to be there and of Cheryl, Jim, David, Lu, Ayhan, Kevin, Mirko, Jay, Luis and even Moe (geez, theres so many of you to list!). All of you were in my thoughts when I saw the tower.
It was then I realized I was not alone, I thought of all of you guys that share so much with me on DA and how close we are when we are here.
So the tower pics as as much mine as they are yours, since you helped inspire them.
We should not be afraid of being alone, we should enjoy every moment for what it is and if we should ever feel lonely, all we have to do is look inside ourselves and make the beautiful things we see outside bring out the beautiful things we have inside!
Besides, Paris is always a good idea!

P.S. Again, just got back last night, have a million things to do, please be patient as I slowly answer messages, faves and notes...

We spent a great week in the country- we were lucky with the weather and had a good time with friends that visited. Had time to do some sightseeing, actually, let me rephrase that- weather was nice enough to allow sightseeing! (In basque country, you never know, it might be the fabled south of france, but when it comes to the weather this can be as bad as anywhere in the world!)
So, Im happy to finally share some pics with all of you that involve more pic hunting and opportunities that one has to find rather than looking for objects or fruits/flowers to take pics of from around the house. LOL!
Lucky me, I will be travelling again next wednesday, Im off to Paris for a few days. I will be visiting family and a "trade show" [link]
This trip I am really looking forward to, paris is probably my favorite city in the whole world, lots of memories there...
