Really?? Almost ALL my houseplants are low maintenance, I just dust them because they're fake! I'd love to have orchids though!! :love:

Really. Orchids need to be watered once a week, thats all and the flower lasts a long time. You can keep it because surely in the spring it will blossom again! :smile:

That's it?? I can do that, I only water my ivy once a week and it's pretty happy! Orchids are so expensive here, so I've been afraid to try to keep one (cacti seem easy!). Maybe I'll ask for one as an anniversary present!! :D

Yep. thats it! Otherwise I would not be able to do it, I am a well know serial plant killer! Orchids here cost around 20 dollars or less, depending on the flower, and the flowers live for around 2 months, then you take care of the plant and they bloom again in spring. I do have a cactus plant too, but its not looking too good lately... Maybe I've neglected it a bit! :smile:
